There and Back Again Corgis

Thank you!
Our journey with corgi breeds started with our beloved American corgi, Navi. She’s an amazing companion and truly embodies everything we adore about this designer mixed breed!
Through American Corgis, we realized the importance of building a solid foundation and honoring the two Welsh breeds that make that foundation.
In 2024, we began our journey with AKC Cardigan Welsh Corgis. This old breed is our favorite and one we feel deserves to be preserved! Our breeding Cardigans will all be OFA, Pennhip & CHIC certified. They will be started or already competing in AKC sports events.
Many of our stock will make wonderful 4-H and herding prospects. No matter their intended purpose, you can expect an eagerness to please and an off switch for that down time.
After 2026, we will no longer be breeding American Corgis. It has been an amazing journey, and we wish all of the breeder friends well with their programs and visions for the future!

Our home, shenanigans, and what we
strive for
We are home based, without a store front, and reside in Winston, Oregon. Please respect our privacy, as only trusted individuals are allowed in our home.
Thank you! -Chul (Nichole) & Aaron
Nestled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, we raise our corgis in a loving home environment. All of our dogs accompany us on adventures! Some of the things we enjoy doing with our adventurous pack of corgis are camping, hiking, rock hounding, floating the river, paddle boarding and attending local events/parks!
Our commitment to healthy puppy development includes performing Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) on all puppies, ensuring they grow up confident and well-adjusted. We believe that a nurturing start leads to happy, healthy companions. Training such as recall, pottying, collaring/leashing, crate exposure, riding in cars, basic commands and manners are all things your puppy will already be started on before their go-home age at 10 weeks!
Some of the other perks of purchasing your dog/puppy from us includes; a 2 year genetic health guarantee, lifetime breeder support, access to health/pedigree records, training/care guidance, complete transparency and the relief of knowing you're getting a well rounded, well started, and pre-spoiled new addition.

About the American Corgi
A true American Corgi should have clear lineage showing it's Cardigan/Pembroke heritage, always steer clear of those mixing Australian Shepherd into their line.
American Corgis are a delightful blend of Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Cardigan Welsh Corgis, carefully produced to highlight the best characteristics of both breeds through selective breeding. With the striking coat patterns of the Cardigan and the more compact Pembroke body style, these adorable pups are quickly becoming a popular trend among dog lovers. Their charming personalities and playful nature make them a wonderful addition to any family. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion, an American Corgi might just be the perfect fit!

The human behind the fluff
Hi there! My name is Nichole, but those that really care about me call me Chul. Yes, I'm the one with too much metal in my face and an obvious corgi obsession! I'm lucky enough to have an amazing husband and daughter that drive me to do better every day.
I grew up doing 4-H, riding my horses, hunting, and getting up to no-good roaming the creek with my Border Collies. Big lover of nature, fantasy and every animal under the stars. When I'm not out in nature, you can catch me curled up with the corgis playing video games or watching Doctor Who.
I worked in commercial dog boarding and grooming for over seven years. During that time, I also bred and showed bully breeds. The community wasn't for me, but I sure loved the breeds!
Now, I work at a wonderfully inclusive preschool and I cherish my work there. One day I dream to own a farm where I can teach at my own daycare where I focus on outdoor learning and teaching age appropriate skills.
Please enjoy some pictures of our family and dogs below! Pictured are our many corgis, my daughter Evelynn, and my husband Aaron.
